MAIN DUTIES

The logistics coordinator plays a central role in planning, organizing, and monitoring transportation and logistics operations. The coordinator ensures efficient shipment coordination, optimization of delivery timelines, and smooth communication between clients, carriers, and internal teams, while respecting operational requirements and established quality standards.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Here are some additional tasks you will be responsible for :

Plan and coordinate local, national, or international shipments

Assign transportation to appropriate partners and carriers

Track deliveries and ensure deadlines are met

Communicate with clients regarding shipment status

Resolve operational issues and logistics contingencies

Prepare and verify transport documentation (BOL, POD, invoices, etc.)

Optimize routes and transportation costs when possible

Maintain shipment records in internal systems

Collaborate with warehouse, dispatch, and customer service

PROFILE REQUIRED

Who are we looking for? The candidate must :

Have experience in transportation, logistics, or dispatch

Have excellent organizational and prioritization skills

Be able to manage multiple files simultaneously

Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities

Be proficient with computer tools and logistics platforms

Have strong communication skills

Be autonomous, detail-oriented, and customer service focused

Speak French and English (bilingualism is a strong asset)

CONDITIONS

Full-time or part-time (between 20 h and 50 h per week);
Compensation : Between $24.45/h and $27.15 $/h + overtime after 9h each day;
Time-and-a-half pay after nine hours per day for customer service agents;
