MAIN DUTIES

The Class 5 driver ensures local and regional transportation of goods as well as safe delivery to customers. The driver is responsible for proper loading, securing, and unloading of products, while respecting routes, delivery timelines, and applicable road safety standards.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Here are some additional tasks you will be responsible for :

Perform deliveries and pickups according to assigned routes

Load and unload merchandise as required

Verify order accuracy upon delivery

Obtain signatures for proof of delivery (POD)

Inspect the vehicle before and after trips (safety inspection)

Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition

Respect road regulations and transportation policies

Communicate with dispatch for route follow-up

Report any irregularities or mechanical issues

PROFILE REQUIRED

Who are we looking for? The candidate must :

Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license

Have a good driving record

Have delivery experience (asset)

Be punctual, reliable, and professional

Have good knowledge of the serviced territory

Be able to handle loads when required

Provide courteous customer service

Speak French or English (minimum)

CONDITIONS

Full-time or part-time (between 20 h and 50 h per week);
Compensation : Between $30.25/h and $35.05/h + overtime after 9h each day;
Time-and-a-half pay after nine hours per day for customer service agents;
